Favor strictly complies with the code of conduct of Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), relevant social responsibility requirements, and all the applicable local regulations and international standards. FAVOR establishes an appropriate management system to ensure the implementation of social responsibility code of conduct, regular reviews, and continuous improvements. FAVOR promises th following items to all employees and stakeholders.
 
  1. Comply with Laws and Regulations:FAVOR shall comply with the applicable laws and regulations related to labor, environment, safety and hygiene of local government.
  2. Freely Chosen Employment:FAVOR shall ensure all works will be voluntary and will not impose forced, bonded or compelling requirements on the employment.
  3. Humane Treatment and Prohibition of Unlawful Discrimination:FAVOR shall not engage in the use of child labor and shall not treat employee with corporal punishment, maltreatment and compelling method. FAVOR shall not engage in the affairs related to hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination or retirement with unlawful discrimination against race, caste, national origin, descent, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, family responsibility, marital status, union membership, political affiliation or age.
  4. Reasonable Wages and Benefits:FAVOR shall strictly comply with applicable laws and regulations of local government related to labor’s wages and benefits. All FAVOR management on employees shall be implemented publicly and definitely.
  5. Protection of Intellectual Property Rights:Intellectual property rights are to be preserved and respected. The utilization of technology, know-how and related data and information thereof is to be done in a manner that protects intellectual property rights.
  6. Transparency:FAVOR will set up the internal and external communication channel. Internally, FAVOR shall encourage the direct communication and participation between employees and managements; externally, FAVOR will welcome any information communicated through the Dedicated Mailbox.
  7. Stick to Integrity Management:FAVOR will adopt the highest integrity and ethics level in management of business operation and employee deportment. Any kind of foul play including, but not limited to, bribery, corruption and deceit shall be prohibited.Raise any violations of business ethics through the employee suggestion box, grievance hotline (03-3211122 #508), and grievance email (favor@favor-p.com.tw).
  8. Management and Promotion of Society Participation:FAVOR will actively participate in the social activities and encourage its business partners to jointly promote and engage in the Corporation Social Responsibility.
  9. Conflict Minerals Policy:For the recent years, the minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo conflict minerals that the categories of minerals are containing niobium, tantalum, iron ore, cassiterite, wolframite and Gold. Those minerals are refined into tantalum (Ta), and Tin (Sn), and tungsten (w), and gold (Au), ect. that will resulting in social, environmental and human rights egradation.
